Quite simply you are a hybrid Programme/Solution Director with the ability and experience to shape and deliver major transformation solutions. This is a consulting role with a global IT services company.  The company has several established multi-billion pound programmes with FTSE 100 companies, including joint go to market programmes, and several long term transformation engagements.

The role is a mix of leading and shaping major new business pursuits as well as looking after large complex deliveries.  There is massive demand from an established client base.  Therefore the company needs to increase capability to fulfil these client requirements across the board. 

You have great breadth of experience, having made and done major transformation technical projects, senior client engagements, business transformation etc…. You will be engaging with the business at C-level (CIO, CEO, COO, CFO etc) then putting together SMEs and TDAs, dealing with commercials.

Technically you will take legacy applications and define a transformation agenda, then migrate or rationalise across a new platform to deliver business benefit. Hence an appreciation of the different types of applications and methods to transform these, together with the associated costs and commercial portfolios associated with them is essential.  With several very large wins the company has been on a massive upward curve over the last two years and will continue to be so.
